We found this hidden gem about 5 miles outside of Royse City and honestly, we were not ready to share it. Pick your own fresh blackberries (and blueberries) straight from the bush, then grab homemade blackberry jam, local honey, and farm fresh eggs on your way out. The most wholesome summer morning you can have with your littles.

Before you go

• Leave pets at home; they have chickens and dogs on the property
• Wear old shoes if it rained recently
• Bring allergy meds if you are sensitive to bee stings
• Picking baskets available on site for $2 each
• Season runs May and June, so go before it is over
• Check their Facebook before going to confirm they are open for picking
• Bring the stroller, a sun hat, and water
