Have you visited the Perot? It is a great spot for play for the little ones, not just the big kids. The Children's Museum is a dedicated lower-level area with a water table, a Lego play area, and a Dallas cityscape play structure, all scaled for littles. Upstairs, dinosaurs, gems, and hands-on science for every age. Rotating special exhibitions usually cost extra on top of general admission.
